The Terra Vigilis Security Group has developed a unique, University based counter drone technician certification track for personnel who are assigned to dedicated counter drone missions. This credentialing program has a curriculum based upon updated threat information, UAS characteristics and capabilities, legal guidelines for detection and mitigation of illegal drones and special training in evidence preservation and custody issues for improper drone operators and their equipment. The curriculum was designed in collaboration with FAA regulatory guidelines regarding Part 107 drone operations. This on-line training opportunity is provided in association with Carroll University and the Aviation Science degree program offered at the University. Applicants are screened for participation in the training program.

Integrated Vulnerability Assessment

Selected members of the Terra Vigilis Security Group have extensive experience in assessment of threat to both sensitive facilities (Critical infrastructure, e.g. Nuclear Facilities) and high value personnel. The Terra Vigilis Team uses a threat assessment format referred to as an integrated vulnerability assessment (IVA). An IVA has a dual purpose involving both identification of threat and development of mitigation strategies. A comprehensive IVA also selects and rank orders the most urgent threats allowing key decision makers the opportunity to evaluate proper allocation of resources. An IVA is a "comprehensive" review of current time, all hazards variables which can be rank ordered and built into an updated security plan or operational plan. Training of security personnel to these new standards is an integrated portion of an IVA.
